Shakti® Sandalwood Oil Distillers & Perfumers proudly traces its roots to 1925, founded by Late Shri Jageshwar Prasad Misra . Led to new horizons by Lt. Pt. Shiv Dularey Lal Misra , the business expanded to Ahmedabad and was formally incorporated in 1943 in Kannauj—the perfume capital of India. Over the decades, our family-owned craftsmanship evolved into a global export house renowned for authentic Indian sandalwood oils and natural, artisanal perfumery ingredients.

Inspired by the dream of Late Pt. Shanti Swaroop Mishra, the company underwent strategic modernization. In 2000, Vivek Narain Misra ,M.sc.  (Organic Chemistry) has vast marketing experience with VOLTAS as sales executive & later on, selected by for first batch of Enterprenure Development Programe initiated by India Government, after that entered in his family business & his vision led to a new feather in the cap of legacy of Kannauj by turning into , introducing *Green skin care products viz # Kesar faceserum, # FaceGlowingoil # Body Nourishment oil # Sandali Ubtan (Scrub), made by ethical and natural ingredients & traditional 5000 years old DeghBhupka process of Kannauj to be used pre- cosmetic as natural skin safety armour everyday.
